     If you’re anybody else I hope you’ve kept reading, so I can tell you about what else you’ll find here besides a slideshow of awesome self-portraits.

     I’m a college student at UNC-Charlotte wrapping up my freshman year and my English 1102 class.  This portfolio is representative of everything I’ve done the past semester in that class, as well as representative of me as a writer in general.

 
     Writing is fun to me. I like to play with it and have a good time.  Sometimes I come across as extremely arrogant when in my mind, I'm making fun of myself.  The goal is for my readers to recognize that I like to play and make jokes.  If they don’t they’ll probably think I’m just rude and lame.  My sarcasm is very strong. I'd consider my humor to be dry; like a Merlot, so for those who aren't Merlot fans, I may not be your favorite writer of all time, and that's okay with me.

     Obviously I think my stuff is great and fun to read, but that’s because I’m supposed to.  My second goal for the portfolio is for readers to come to their own conclusions about it.  With that said, click the tabs up top and read away.  The slideshow isn’t going anywhere.
